The well known Haiti radio personality Lamour Eric Laguerre AKA Tom Malè, Manmi Prela, has died.

The iconic host and comedian passed away Saturday night with the news being confirmed by Radio Caraibes.

After being stricken on his way back from a party around 11:00 pm then rushed by his friends to Hospital Espoir, in Port-au-Prince, doctors has later pronounced him dead.

Tom Malè known in Haiti as well in the diaspora was a beloved figure in Haitian comedy, adored not only by his fans, but also his colleagues.

His car was set on fired last month in front of Radio Caraibes, during the police protest against what they say are deplorable work conditions and a call on officials to allow them to form a union.
